Let me see if I heard this right: the commonwealth has ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS OF ISSUED DEBT AND UNFUNDED PUBLIC PENSION FUND LIABILITIES and when asked point-blank about this, Tim Toomey the 20 year veteran state legislator thinks that the total is "a couple of billion" ??? (this is at the 1:03:26 mark)
Worse, the Independent Progressive candidate said "a couple a billion plus one" as his answer.
Are you kidding me? A 20-year legislator is wrong by a factor of FIFTY when it comes to knowing how deep our fiscal hole is???
If our elected leders are that oblivious to the big things and We the People are prepared to send them back to Beacon Hill, we are truly screwed.
